• Black leo/dress, pink tights, pink ballets & hair in a bun

• Boys: Black t-shirt, black pants & black ballets

Headshots for the Nutcracker program will be taken on November 9th during your dancer's scheduled rehearsal: view times HERE

Please be in dress code (black leotard/top & hair in a bun). If you cannot attend & want to be in the program, email [email protected] for a make-up option. If you do not have black dance attire, a shirt will be provided for this photo.

On December 14 we will be holding our Nutcracker Dress Rehearsals & Picture Day at Central Middle School - Performing Arts Center (Eden Prairie). Dancers should arrive fully ready to go in costume, tights, and hair & make-up. Each group is assigned a slot where they will rehearse on stage and take their picture. The majority of costumes will be delivered on the first rehearsal. Please try the costume on right away & hang in a garment bag until Dress Rehearsal. Dancers were measured at auditions in September for these costumes — there are no exchanges of sizes due to the short time frame, however, you are welcome to arrange alterations for your costume if necessary.

Costumes include tights & accessories. Dancers must have Capezio Lily Leather Ballets (pink for girls, black for boys).

Order Deadline: Saturday, November 23, 2024

Order Pickup: Parents will be contacted via text when orders are ready to pick-up. All orders will be available to pick-up at the Nutcracker dress rehearsals & performance (Dec 14 & 15). Fresh flower bouquets are only available through pre-order & can be picked up at the show

Ticket sales are done online, and using a desktop computer to purchase tickets works best! You will be able to select your seats from a seating chart of the auditorium. There is not a bad seat in the house at our venue, so no need to stress!

Ticket sales open Monday, Nov 18 at 9:00 am. Families will purchase tickets through Dance Recital Ticketing. You will receive an email with a purchase link & instructions by Nov 16. There is an initial limit of 8 tickets per family. Tickets start at $16. All unsold tickets will be available on Fri, Dec 6th if your family needs more than 8. 

Dancers performing in the show do not need a ticket. Children (4 & under) that can sit on a lap do not need a ticket.

On Friday, December 6th at 9:00 AM, if you need additional Nutcracker tickets, the remaining seats will be available for purchase (no limit).

Dress Rehearsal is an important time for our young dancers to get a feel for the stage and the flow of the show. It helps dancers gain confidence and builds excitement for show day! With dancers fully ready to rehearse in costume & their full stage look, it is also a great time to take their professional picture for holiday keepsakes and memories!

Dress Rehearsal is held at our show venue - Central Middle School in Eden Prairie (8025 School Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55344). Make sure to park in the Performing Arts Center side of the building. Enter Door #2.

Dancers will arrive in their full stage look with hair (ballet bun) & make-up and costume + tights. There is no dressing room space available on this day. Dress Rehearsal will also include professional pictures. See more details below!

>Arrival Time is 15 mins prior to rehearsal time (READY TO GO!)

>Pictures (individuals only) will be optional to order online in early January. 

>Closed Auditorium: Parents will drop-off & pick-up their dancer in the backstage hallway. You are welcome to stay or leave the school. A TV monitor to view the stage is available to watch in the school lobby.

PARKING:

Make sure to park in the Performing Arts Center side of the building. Enter Door #2. Overflow parking is available on the other side of the school.

Show 1 = Sunday, December 15 (11:00 am)

Dancer Arrival Time: 10:30 am

Show 2 = Sunday, December 15 (1:30 pm)

Dancer Arrival Time: 1:00 pm

Show 3 = Sunday, December 15 (4:00 pm)

Dancer Arrival Time: 3:30 pm

Each show will last approx. 50 minutes with no intermission. Dancers will remain backstage the entire show, and participate in our ending pose with the full cast on stage at the very end!
